Hello fellow Expats I am here again with another blog post update.  

I have been  tweeting a lot lately on Twitter and have noticed that there's so many Expats following me now on Twitter, a lot of them refer to themselves as digital nomads. Most of them are travelling the world, they're interested in new cultures and trying different types of food in all of the Southeast Asian countries  they're basically living the dream making money online and really having a great life and this is what we are all trying to accomplish here.

Why Digital Nomads Need To Make Money Online

 We're trying to make a way for ourselves to have our own means of  production, be our own bosses and make money online, that way we are not bound physically to one location.  we are free to roam and travel the world and live in all these amazing places temporarily and get a feel for different cultures and try to find out where we actually feel more comfortable living, and where do we want to live for a few years. these are questions that a lot of us are starting to ask ourselves now because there's so many different places and they're all so different from each other, the food is different the cultures different, the people are different and these  new places are very interesting to us because when you're from one place and you don't travel around a lot you don't really see how different the world is until you start travelling to other places.

 a lot of people are making their own blogs travel blogs, vlogs and  being really highly active on social networks like Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and this is really good because it helps attract the right type of people that are interested in the content that we are producing. sometimes other people don't really like keeping a Blog are producing videos and video editing and all of that sort of thing.

Amazon FBA - Digital Nomad

 A lot of people are doing the Amazon FBA fulfilment by Amazon which is a really good method to make money online because you don't have to actually ship the product yourself, Amazon will ship everything from their own warehouse and whenever you order wholesale you have it shipped right to the Amazon warehouse so you never even have to put labels on packages never have to ship anything, that gives you the ability to travel anywhere in the world when you start making a good living doing so

Drop Shipping - Digital Nomad

 Other people might be more interested in doing the Drop Shipping method because it doesn't really require much money up front you can basically sign up for an account at a wholesaler website, get access to their inventory and then you sell that product on your own website  and put a very good description there so that it really shows the customer all the details about the item because a lot of times these Drop Shipping websites they don't really have a lot of content about the items and don't review their items very much because they're more interested in Mass producing the items. They want other people to do that instead which is really good because you can actually make a few hundred dollars selling one item depending on what you're doing because you're not bound by the start up restrictions(barrier to entry) of Amazon FBA which is usually people just selling the cheap items between one and $10 or something like that on Amazon which is good and everything but you don't really make as much profit per sale, so if you're actually wanting to sell $500 items it's probably best to do the Drop Shipping thing but you also have to remember that there's a lot of emailing and customer service that goes into that so you will have to speak to customers and email them back and forth. A lot of times if you're living and Southeast Asia or another country in a different time zone you may have to wake up in the middle of the night to talk to customers which is fine but you just have to be on a really good schedule to do so.

Tumblr can be a very powerful tool for SEO. Search engine optimization is very important for getting more views on YouTube and more views on your blog. 

There are many ways to do off page SEO but Tumblr is a very easy alternative to some of the other methods that can be little more difficult for some people new to SEO. Tumblr gives you the option of posting a link, or a picture, or even a quotes and there are many other options as well. but for the most part we're probably just going to stick with posting pictures and links for now. The importance of posting pictures is pretty simple, Most People on Social media like memes and pictures, So they're more likely to share them especially if the pictures are not linking to anything else. 

Post Pictures and Memes Related To You Niche - Expats

It is very important to share pictures related to your niche, anything related to what you're actually talking about in your YouTube videos so whatever niche that you're in, those of the types of photos that you want to share on Tumblr.  The first step is downloading pictures to share on Tumblr. 

 How To Find The Best Pictures To Share On Tumblr - Expat SEO

To obtain these pictures you go to a search engine such as Google click on images and type in the topic of your YouTube video that you're going to share on Tumblr. So again, if your YouTube channel is based on one specific topic then you want to stick to that specific topic I cannot stress this enough. If you post unrelated pictures, you are not attracting the right followers that would be interested in your videos. 

When searching for pictures on any image search engine make sure to select  pictures that look like something that you would personally share on your own Facebook page Twitter or Tumblr. If it looks like something that you would be willing to share than most likely other people would share it as well and that's that's very important because you want as many shares as possible. Every time someone shares your pictures it becomes a Tumblr SEO backlink to your Tumblr page and later on when it gains a lot of shares, you can actually edit a picture and add a back-link to your YouTube video, YouTube channel or blog. This is very powerful for search engine optimization. 

Why Are Tumblr Back Links Important - For Expats

When Google crawls your Tumblr page and notices that your videos and blogs are being shared on social media, it gives them a lot of authority which is passed on to your website. This means you'll be able to gain more organic traffic that's more related to your youtube channel topics.

What To Do After You Post Pictures Related To Your Niche On Tumblr - SEO

After posting 10-20 niche related pictures on your Tumblr Page. You now want to follow people. It is important to wait 48 hours after creating your tumblr account before you start following a lot of people, because your account could be deactivated and we obviously don't want that.

After 48 hours after you have created your account, you want to search Tumblr for your niche such as "Expats In Asia" You will see other posts on tumblr about the same topics. You then want to look for how many "notes" it has, these are the number of shares that the specific picture has. Look for something without links, then share the picture to your own Tumblr Page.

Once you share a popular picture with many notes. You want to click on "notes" right under the picture, where you will see all of the tumblr accounts that shares that specific picture, Now start following them. If there are many, I would recommend following only the people who reshared that picture, because they would be more likely to share something from your page, which will give you the back links.
