How Digital Nomads Make Money Abroad
Hello fellow Expats I am here again with another blog post update.
I have been tweeting a lot lately on Twitter and have noticed that there's so many Expats following me now on Twitter, a lot of them refer to themselves as digital nomads. Most of them are travelling the world, they're interested in new cultures and trying different types of food in all of the Southeast Asian countries they're basically living the dream making money online and really having a great life and this is what we are all trying to accomplish here.
Why Digital Nomads Need To Make Money Online
We're trying to make a way for ourselves to have our own means of production, be our own bosses and make money online, that way we are not bound physically to one location. we are free to roam and travel the world and live in all these amazing places temporarily and get a feel for different cultures and try to find out where we actually feel more comfortable living, and where do we want to live for a few years. these are questions that a lot of us are starting to ask ourselves now because there's so many different places and they're all so different from each other, the food is different the cultures different, the people are different and these new places are very interesting to us because when you're from one place and you don't travel around a lot you don't really see how different the world is until you start travelling to other places.
a lot of people are making their own blogs travel blogs, vlogs and being really highly active on social networks like Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and this is really good because it helps attract the right type of people that are interested in the content that we are producing. sometimes other people don't really like keeping a Blog are producing videos and video editing and all of that sort of thing.
Amazon FBA - Digital Nomad
A lot of people are doing the Amazon FBA fulfilment by Amazon which is a really good method to make money online because you don't have to actually ship the product yourself, Amazon will ship everything from their own warehouse and whenever you order wholesale you have it shipped right to the Amazon warehouse so you never even have to put labels on packages never have to ship anything, that gives you the ability to travel anywhere in the world when you start making a good living doing so
Drop Shipping - Digital Nomad
Other people might be more interested in doing the Drop Shipping method because it doesn't really require much money up front you can basically sign up for an account at a wholesaler website, get access to their inventory and then you sell that product on your own website and put a very good description there so that it really shows the customer all the details about the item because a lot of times these Drop Shipping websites they don't really have a lot of content about the items and don't review their items very much because they're more interested in Mass producing the items. They want other people to do that instead which is really good because you can actually make a few hundred dollars selling one item depending on what you're doing because you're not bound by the start up restrictions(barrier to entry) of Amazon FBA which is usually people just selling the cheap items between one and $10 or something like that on Amazon which is good and everything but you don't really make as much profit per sale, so if you're actually wanting to sell $500 items it's probably best to do the Drop Shipping thing but you also have to remember that there's a lot of emailing and customer service that goes into that so you will have to speak to customers and email them back and forth. A lot of times if you're living and Southeast Asia or another country in a different time zone you may have to wake up in the middle of the night to talk to customers which is fine but you just have to be on a really good schedule to do so.
Making Money With A Blog - Digital Nomad
if you don't want to do the drop shipping method, you can always do blogs and videos and video editing. there's so many people out there that are really interested in living abroad and they're interested in the other cultures around the world so if you can take videos of that festivals and music shows concerts and all those sort of things those will actually get a lot of hits on YouTube and you can make a little bit of money doing that and also affiliate marketing so thanks for checking out my blog make sure to follow me on Twitter as well, and check out my youtube channel @IwantToBeInVn, have a good day
